This is the original official site where product manufacturers who claim specific ORAC (Oxygen Radical Absorbance Capacity) values of their products in advertising and or labeling proudly display their current ORAC values for the public to view voluntarily.

This voluntary initiative is driven by two key factors. Consumers who demand truth in labeling claims and advertising regarding ORAC specific claims by manufacturers, and ethical manufacturers who wish to preserve product integrity and consumer confidence in their ORAC product claims.

This organization is dedicated to demystifying the definitions of ORAC testing in layman terms, proposing and implementing standards of excellence for ORAC claims, reporting up to the minute research in this field, informing consumers, reporting false claims, and assisting manufacturers with a standard of excellence guideline for ethical ORAC claims. Lastly, creating a universal language that all can prescribe to and understand.

Through this initiative the consumer will become empowered to make an informed decision as to which manufacturers they can trust when considering ORAC claims on any product. All manufacturers that have voluntarily agreed to provide their current ORAC test findings to ORACWATCH.ORG have been certified by an independent laboratory with a valid current ORAC value for their product and can proudly display the seal on their labels and promotional advertising.

SPECIAL NOTE: We do not mean to imply that if a manufacturer has not voluntarily disclosed their current certified ORAC results to our organization for public viewing that they are unethical in any manner. Actually it may take some time before you see many listings here because we are only concerned with listing companies that subscribe to the highest standards being set forth at ORACWATCH.org and the "Gold Standard" guidelines. With that said, any company listed here has unequivocally passed the most stringent standards and practices for ORAC claims and can be trusted 100%. However, we strongly recommend that consumers demand such current documentation from that specific manufacturer prior to purchasing any product making ORAC value claims that is not listed with us.

ORACWATCH.ORG is an independent, unbiased, reporting agency and void of any opinion. We are not affiliated with any testing laboratory or manufacturer. We only report the facts. The ORAC testing results listed on this website are voluntarily supplied by the manufactures from ORAC testing conducted by independent laboratories specializing in ORAC testing. Only then does the independent testing laboratory certify the results. ORACWATCH.ORG does not conduct any ORAC testing on the behalf of any manufacturer. However, developed the current ORAC assays in cooperation with Dr. Ronald Prior of the USDA, and is the premier laboratory in the field of ORAC testing. They are an independent, third-party laboratory.
